-- Stuart began working with natural foods at King Harvest Food Co-op in the early 1970‘s. This year marks his thirteenth year at Food Fantasies. Stu‘s extensive knowledge of living a clean, sustainable lifestyle, as well as his personal, unwavering commitment to TRULY natural and organic products is an added bonus to the store. While at home, Stuart & Sheena his cat, both use organic & natural products.

Jo VanMetre
-- Jo started working at Food Fantasies in 2003 as a store clerk. Along the way she also enjoyed the positions of produce manager and grocery buyer. Jo became store manager in July and finds that her organizational skills and vegan lifestyle are assets she can draw upon as she navigates her new management role.

Jerry Caslin
-- Jerry grew up in a small farm town in Il. During the '60‘s he spent time in the Marines before beginning his retail career with the Woolworth company. The next 35 years he managed and supervised stores for 3 other chains. He took early retirement and purchased Food Fantasies. His retail philosophy is simple -offer high quality products at reasonable prices combined with good customer service and treat your employees like family.

Jacob Hawkes
-- Jacob, our resident cross-country traveler, has supported our store for many years. When he is not traversing the American Southwest or hiking mountain ranges in Colorado & North Carolina, Jacob is here ensuring only the cleanest and tastiest natural foods make it our shelves. He has prior experience working in natural markets and co-ops, which makes him a great resource for our buyers and customers.

Outreach Coordinator
Tim Ryan
-- Tim has been our loyal customer for years, and in 2006 we welcomed him onto our team of Buyers. He maintains our dairy (& dairy-free) products, and manages our vast array of local meat (& meat alternatives), as well as anything else you see in the freezers & coolers. Tim is also knowledgeable about of greenfoods (wheatgrass), and "sprouting" too. Plus he makes a mean bagel, neufchatel cheese, sprout, and stuffed-olive sandwich!

Bruce Williams
-- Bruce joined our team in 2004, and immediately garnered an adoring following of patrons and visitors. Perhaps this was due to his skills at maintaining our bulk Oat Bran (but more likely because he's a part of NIL8, Springfield's most popular band). Bruce has the most welcoming smile and positive demeanor of our store, and he now extends this cheerfulness to our vibrant display of local and organic fruits and vegetables.

-- Since 2002 Glenn and Teresa have been leading our wonderful in-house bakery. Everyday Glenn and Teresa create several types of delicious natual breads, pastries, muffins, dinner rolls, energy bars, granolas, and much more! Special orders are welcome. They are constantly adding new and delicious products to our bakery line of goods, so stop in let them show you why "Natural Foods Taste Better."

Lena Mae Holt
-- Lena began Food Fantasies on March 13, 1989, one month before the store opened. She's helped us evolve from a gourmet market to a natural foods store, and is the designer of all our Gift Baskets. Her customized baskets fit most price ranges & need only 48 hrs. notice. See Lena about donations for charitable events!
